We currently have an immediate need for a weekend Kiln/Furnace Operator at our location in Laurens, SC.


 


 

 


This position is for the weekend shift only.

Hours will be NOON to MIDNIGHT Saturday and Sunday.

Pay will be $11.00 per hour. Benefits available (Please see below) 


Responsibilities of this position include but not limited to:



  • Loading and unloading kiln cars using an automated system

  • Monitoring kiln parameters

  • Operating forklift

  • Standing

  • Troubleshooting abnormal kiln and product discrepancies
Qualifications * Must have 6 months to 1 year of kiln/furnace operator experience
* Must have 6 months to 1 year of heat treat experience
* Must have 6 months to 1 year of troubleshooting experience
* High School Diploma or GED
* Be able to pass a Drug Screen
* Valid drivers license
* US Citizen or Permanent Resident
* Clean background ( No Felonies)

This position is Saturday - Sunday noon to midnight.

Functional abilities:

* Lifting and carrying parts ranging from (1) ounce to (50) lbs

* Grasping and moving parts ranging in size

* Constant standing and movement (bending, stooping, lifting) to perform the various functions.

* Exercise sound judgment in reacting to problems inherent to the process.

* Repeated bending, twisting, stooping
